Carol Stream Woman’s Club

For over 50 years, the Carol Stream Woman’s Club has been supporting local organizations and charities with volunteers and money raised from CSWC fundraising efforts.

In the past, we would ask members for suggestions as to who should receive Club money. A ballot would be prepared, and we voted. Many times even though an organization or cause was worthy, it received few votes because other than the nominating member, no one else in the Club knew about them. We decided it was time for a change.

We have invited several organizations to set up small info booths. Members will be able to talk to these organizations during social time. During the program part of the meeting, each organization will speak 3-5 minutes about what they do.

In October, we will have a ballot vote to choose two of these organizations to receive the money we have raised during 2019.
