Service Projects

The Carol Stream Woman’s Club is a philanthropic and social club that supports local organizations with time and monetary donations.  The 2019 club year we are participating in the following Service Projects:


Let’s Play! Birth to 5 Community Coalition Event

January 12 – Volunteers at the registration table at the Birth to 5 Community Coalition “Let’s Play!” event.

Q1 Collections: Gym Shoe Collections

January 2019 – March 2019 – Gym shoes will be recycled or shredded at Dick Pond’s

Community Wide Food Drive

April 2019

Q2 Collections: Feminine Hygiene Products Collections

April 2019 – May 2019 – Items will be donated to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans

We Grow Dreams

We Grow Dreams Inc – Sunday 4/28 Starting at 1pm – 1055 W Washington St – West Chicago
Mission of We Grow: To provide people with disabilities the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives and to train and work in a supportive, safe and caring environment while producing and providing products and services to the community. In this pursuit we honor the concepts of human dignity, respect, hardwork, fellowship and friendship. Project Details: We’ll meet at We Grow Dreams at 1:00 pm. Work an hour or two or three–whatever you are comfortable with. All help is appreciated. BTW–We will not be alone–other supporters of the We Grow Dreams organization will be there.

Carol Stream Summer Lunch

Help serve children in Carol Stream lunch provided by Organic Life at Carol Stream Elementary School 11 AM to 1 PM each Wednesday from June 12 through August 7

Q3 Collections: HSP Annual School Supply Drive

We are collecting school supplies for the Annual HSP School Supply Drive from 7/1/2019 – 8/19/2019.
Checkout the HSP Flyer on this event for more information.
We will collect supplies anytime between now and 8/19/2019 (our Summer Picnic).
